Coffee Recipes

Updated: Apr 12, 2021

I am a coffee addict! I usually drink anywhere from 1-3 cups every day, so I try to avoid making the same drink every time. Below are some of my favorite coffee recipes which are super easy and take no more than five minutes each. These recipes are sweetened, but if you like it sweeter, just add more of the sweetener in the recipe and visa versa if you like it less sweet. I use the Ninja Coffee Bar to make my drinks, it has different settings for hot drinks, iced drinks, and even has a milk frother. If you don't use this coffee maker, I highly recommend it!

Most of these recipes contain foamed milk, if you don't have a milk frother, you will need a mason jar. If you prefer no foam, no need for the jar!

P.S. Most of these recipes can easily be changed to suite your taste buds and dietary needs.

Foamed Milk:

Fill the mason jar with as much milk as you normally use in your coffee (no more than half full). Place the lid on the jar and shake for 30-40 seconds or until the amount of milk has doubled.

1. Macchiato

This is one of my go-to drinks, I probably have a macchiato four out of the seven mornings I drink coffee. I love that I can make it whatever flavor I'm feeling like, I usually go for caramel or vanilla.

What you need:

8 oz of hot coffee or americano

Milk (as much as you prefer)

Flavored Syrup

To make:

Brew coffee.

While your coffee is brewing, warm milk in the microwave, then froth.

Pour as much syrup as you would like in the bottom of your mug.

Then add coffee, then foamed milk.

If you want, you can add a flavored sauce on top (for example, caramel sauce)

2. Iced Vanilla Latte

So yummy and refreshing! This latte is so easy to make, it's why it's one of my favorites.

What You Need:

4 oz strong chilled coffee

Vanilla syrup

Milk

Ice

To Make:

Chill your coffee.

Fill glass with as much ice and vanilla syrup as you prefer.

Warm your milk in the microwave, then froth.

Pour coffee, then milk into glass. Stir.

3. Toffee Coffee

This coffee really satisfies my sweet tooth! You can switch the butterscotch out for caramel if you prefer.

What Your Need:

8 oz hot coffee

Butterscotch syrup

Dark brown sugar

Vanilla extract

Heavy Cream

To Make:

Put the butterscotch syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in your mug.

Pour hot coffee in mug.

Warm heavy cream, and froth. Pour in mug.

Drizzle caramel on top.

4. Horchata Iced Coffee

If you haven’t tried horchata, you are missing out! It is a rice milk with cinnamon and vanilla flavors that tastes like heaven. It is really easy to find here in Arizona, but if you can’t find it at your local grocery store here is a recipe.

What you need:

Horchata (here is the brand I use)

8 oz of iced coffee

Ground cinnamon

Vanilla syrup (for added sweetener)

To make:

Chill coffee and horchata.

If you want to make it a little sweeter, pour the vanilla syrup in the bottom of your glass.

Add ice, then pour coffee over ice.

Add as much horchata as you would like, top with a little sprinkle of ground cinnamon!

5. Caramel Brûlée Coffee

I love the Starbucks Caramel Brûlée latte, so I had to recreate it at home. This is one of the more sweet drinks on here, so I try to not drink this more than once or twice a week.

What You Need:

Milk

8 oz hot coffee

Dark brown sugar

Caramel sauce

Vanilla Syrup

Whipped cream

To Make:

Combine milk (remember, no more than half the jar), a teaspoon of the brown sugar, some caramel and some vanilla syrup.

Warm in the microwave, then froth.

Pour foam into coffee, then top with whipped cream and caramel drizzle.
