Pairing Beer With Food: Arizona

Updated: Jan 16, 2021

One of my favorite things to do is find new local beers and the best food to go with them! This post is going to be about five of my favorite Arizona beers and some bites that pair perfectly with them. After you read this, I'm sure a lot of you are going to be wondering why a didn't put pretzel anywhere in this post. Well, that's because a pretzel goes with every beer (in my opinion)! So if you don't know what to get, and there's one on the menu, a pretzel is always a safe bet.

Four Peaks Kilt Lifter

Scottish Style Amber Ale

The description on the bottle is perfect and all you need to know about this beer, "Matly, Toasted, Love".

Pair it with a burger, chicken sandwich or pepperoni pizza!

College Street Big Blue Van

American Style Wheat

This beer is the perfect fruit wheat, with an ideal blueberry flavor. Sweet but subtle, just how I like it! This goes best with sushi, salad or tacos.

Arizona Wilderness Blood Orange

Gose

Sour beers are not for everyone, but this one is good, I promise! Actually, all of my favorite sour beers come from Arizona Wilderness Brewing. A gose goes pairs best with mussels or salty meats (anything cured really).

SanTan Moon Juice

IPA

I'm not a huge fan of IPAs, but I LOVE this one! This is the beer you want to have with deSsert, like a nice piece of chocolate cake! If that's not appetizing to you, try it with fish and chips.

Huss Scottsdale Blonde

German Kolsch

Last but not least, the Scottsdale Blonde. I like to enjoy a salad or fish of any kind when I get this on draft.
