I’m a frequent makeup user, there’s maybe one or two days a week that I don’t wear makeup, and I love it! Beauty is my favorite topic on my blog because it can be used in many different ways, and you can create millions of different looks. It truly is an art! Because I use makeup everyday, I became curious how much it costs me to wear makeup on a daily basis. How much does it cost me a day to get ready? I may not go for a full coverage look every day, just because of the amount of time it takes, but if I could, I would! So, I'm basing my calculations off of doing a full coverage, day-to-day look with my favorite products, from high-end to drugstore.
I used the number of days it takes me to use up a product to get my totals. {For example, I use the Stila Huge Extreme Lash mascara up in about 3 months, 6 days a week, and it retails for $23. 6 days X 4 weeks = 24 days X 3 months = 72 days of use. $23 / 72 days = $0.32 per day.}
So, here’s the break down:

Overall, I was expecting my total to be a little higher! I also thought my face products category would be the most expensive, not my eye products. It was a lot of fun figuring this out, and I hope you enjoyed reading about it!
